CS to review critical matters related to recruitment and service issues in high-level meeting on August 13

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 09 (STC): The Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir has called a meeting to comprehensively review critical matters related to recruitment and service issues across various government departments in the Union Territory.
A formal communication issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) states that the agenda of the meeting will include a review of the status of vacancies referred to the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) and the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).
In addition, the meeting will examine the current position of un-advertised posts, pending recruitment selections that are held up due to clarifications required from indenting departments, and cases pertaining to Regular Departmental Actions (RDAs).
The Chief Secretary will also review the status of pending Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs) and assess the progress of cases under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS) and SRO-43.
All Administrative Secretaries, the Chairman and Secretary of the JKSSB, and the Secretary of the JKPSC have been requested to attend the meeting. Officers based in Jammu will participate virtually from the Meeting Hall, 2nd Floor, Civil Secretariat, Jammu, ensuring seamless coordination between both civil secretariats.
Administrative Secretaries have been directed to present comprehensive details regarding the vacancies available in their respective departments that are fit for referral to the recruiting agencies.
Notably, the high-level meeting is to be convened on Wednesday, August 13, at 5:00 PM in the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.
