Advisor Nasir Wani’s Salvo: CM Omar’s experience should have been leveraged in security review meeting

SRINAGAR , FEBRUARY 12 (STC): In a reaction to today’s security review meeting, Advisor to the J&K Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, said that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha should have invited Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for this key security review meeting.
“We have already acknowledged that the Lieutenant Governor is responsible for overseeing law and order. However, in principle, Omar Abdullah should have been invited to the meeting due to his vast experience in handling security matters in Jammu and Kashmir,” the CM ‘s advisor stated.
It’s worth mentioning that the high level security review meeting was attended by senior officials from the Police, Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and other security agencies. (STC)
