Advisor to CM Nasir Sogami presses for Rajya Sabha elections in J&K

National Conference (NC) remains fully committed to the democratic process and is not afraid of facing elections.
Nasir Sogami, Advisor to the Chief Minister, on Thursday said this while talking to the media.
He underlined the party’s consistent stand on democratic participation and pressed for the urgent conduct of Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also said the NC’s long-standing demand for the restoration of statehood is the rightful claim of the people of J&K.
Holding the Rajya Sabha polls without further delay is crucial for preserving the democratic spirit in J&K, he said. (STC)
