AIJKBOF elects new body with Comrade Mehrajudin Shah as President & Comrade Nikhil Grover as Gen Secretary

JAMMU, DECEMBER 16 (STC): New body of All India Jammu and Kashmir Bank Officers Federation (AIJKBOF) has been framed through elections with Comrade Mehrajudin Shah from Kashmir unit elected as president and Comrade Nikhil Grover from Jammu unit as General Secretary.
According to the statement issued by the Federation, election of All India Jammu & Kashmir Bank Officers Federation was conducted on 13.12.2025 in the pursuant to the notifications dated 21.11.2025 at Jammu .The constituent units of Federation i.e. Jammu, Kashmir ,Delhi & Maharashtra participated in the election process which was conducted democratically in free and fair manner .
Other newly elected office bearers of AIJKBOF are Har Dutt (Senior Vice President, Jammu), Mohammad Iqbal Bazaz (Senior vice President, Kashmir), Abhishek Baru (Vice President, Jammu), Kapil Nanda (Vice President, Jammu), Chetan Jamwal (Vice President, Jammu), Chander Pal Singh Sambyal (Vice president, Jammu), Zubair Rasool Mir (Vice President, Kashmir), Jahangeer Alam Khan (Vice president, Kashmir), Tariq Ahmed Bhat (Vice president, Delhi), Mir Waseem Hassan (Vice president, Maharashtra), John Mohd Sofi

Ashish Mahajan (President , Jammu Unit) on behalf of all the members has extended congratulations to the newly elected office bearers and has expressed full faith in their commitment and leadership in furthering the cause of officers’ welfare, unity, and organizational strength.
Com. Zubair Rasool Mir (President Kashmir unit) in his message congratulated the entire team and offered full support to the newly elected leadership to take up the issues of the general members to the concerned quarters for logical conclusion.
Outgoing President Com. Kapil Nanda, while addressing the gathering, thanked the members for successful conclusion of the election processl and unwavering faith in the trade union movement.
Notably, the General Secretary Jammu Unit, Com. Sunil Bhau emphasized the need to further strengthen the federation, stay united, and proactively take up the genuine issues of officers with the management for timely resolution.
