Amit Shah to review J&K’s security scenario tomorrow

New Delhi, February 03 (STC): According to reports from official sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going to review Jammu & Kashmir’s security scenario during a high-level meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday.).

J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary Atal Duloo, Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, and top officials from paramilitary forces and intelligence agencies will be attending the meeting.

Reports said that the meeting would be discussing the security plan for the coming months as snow will start melting, leading to the opening of infiltration routes along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Other issues that may come up for discussion include securing tourist spots before the commencement of the peak tourism season, reveals the report.

Besides, the meeting is expected to discuss steps to eliminate the terror ecosystem in J&K.
Meanwhile, the top security brass will apprise the Home Minister about the steps being taken to maintain peace across the region. (STC)
