Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian pays tribute to Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, announces 40-days mourning across J&K

: Following the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian has announced 40 days of official mourning across Jammu and Kashmir.
The organization, in a statement has described the Iranian leader as a “patron of the oppressed” and confirmed that he has “attained martyrdom.”
The announcement was made by Aga Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi, the President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, who the group stated is in a state of profound mourning, viewing the late leader as a spiritual guide.
In a series of directives for the 40-day period, the Anjuman has called for black flags to be hoisted at all mosques, Imambargahs, and religious institutions across the Valley.
It has urged community members to organize congregational prayers and Quran recitations.
Furthermore, the organization has requested that religious scholars and orators dedicate their sermons to highlighting the late leader’s role in promoting Muslim unity and his support for the people of Palestine. The Anjuman has also advised all believers to observe simplicity in their public and private lives and to refrain from celebratory events during this period.
The Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian stated that his “struggle against global arrogance” would remain a guiding light.
