Apni Party Chief Altaf Bukhari urges evacuation of J&K students from Iran

SRINAGAR, MARCH 02 (STC): Former minister and Apni Party Chief Altaf Bukhari in a statement has appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the External Affairs Minister Dr SJaishankar to ensure safe evacuation of students from Jammu & Kashmir stranded in Iran.
Hundreds of families are in deep distress as their children remain in Iran facing an extremely grave and uncertain environment. The restrictions on internet and telecommunications services in Iran have further intensified their anxiety, as many parents are unable to establish contact with their children, he said.
He further stated that in the given crisis, it is imperative that urgent and coordinated measures are undertaken to ensure the safety and prompt evacuation of the students stranded in Iran.
