Banihal Road Accident: CBI Prosecuting Officer succumbs to injuries

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 26 (STC): A lawyer, Advocate Sheikh Adil Nabi, recently appointed as a Prosecuting Officer, CBI Prosecuting Officer died after succumbed today to injuries he had suffered in Banihal road accident yesterday.
According to the reports, the accident occurred on Wednesday when Advocate Adil Nabi was travelling towards Kashmir from Delhi. He sustained serious injuries in the mishap and was immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment, where his condition remained critical.
Despite medical intervention, he today succumbed to his injuries, the reports said.
Hailing from Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Advocate Adil Nabi was known among the legal fraternity for his professional work at the District Court Srinagar. His recent appointment as a Prosecuting Officer in the CBI was considered a significant development in his legal career.
Members of the Bar expressed shock over his untimely death, describing it as a loss to the legal community.
