BJP’s growing momentum in J&K; holds mega joining programme at SKICC Srinagar

: Drawing a significant political attention, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a mega joining programme of the patty at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar, here today. The party leaders, workers, and new entrants from across the region participated in the event which was presided over by Jammu and Kashmir BJP State President Sat Sharma.
The BJP State President welcomed the new members into the party fold and emphasized the organization’s commitment to strengthening its grassroots presence across the Union Territory. Addressing the gathering, he reiterated the party’s focus on development, good governance, and inclusive growth.
Leader of the Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, highlighted the evolving political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir and said that the increasing number of people joining the BJP reflects growing public confidence in the party’s vision and policies.
General Secretary (Organization) for Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, Ashok Koul, underscored the importance of organizational strength and cadre-based politics. He stressed that such joining programmes are instrumental in expanding the party’s outreach and consolidating its presence at the booth level.
State General Secretary Anwar and State Secretary Arif Raja also addressed the gathering, expressing optimism about the party’s expanding support base. They called upon party workers to remain committed to public service and to actively engage with citizens to address their concerns.
Senior party members including Mudasir Wani and All Cells Incharge Bilal Parray were present on the occasion, along with representatives of various cells and party wings. They welcomed the new entrants and assured them of full support within the party structure.
The programme concluded with a pledge by party leaders to continue strengthening the organization across Jammu and Kashmir through sustained public outreach, grassroots mobilization, and a focus on developmental initiatives. The large turnout at the SKICC venue was described by the party leaders as a reflection of the BJP’s growing momentum in the region.
