BOPEE issues counselling schedule for SMVD MBBS students: CM Omar Abdullah

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 22 (STC): Even as the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) had yesterday stated that processing adjustment of MBBS students of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Medical College was not possible, it has now issued the counselling schedule, clearing the way for students to proceed with their medical education.
This was disclosed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today
He said that the government has taken necessary steps to address the concerns of the affected students. “The Government has resolved the college allocation issue for selected MBBS candidates of SMVD College. With BOPEE now issuing the counselling schedule, students can move ahead with their studies,” Omar Abdullah said.
