Chief Justice inaugurates newly constructed Court Complex at Hiranagar Kathua

JAMMU, DECEMBER 20 (STC): Chief Justice High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Arun Palli, today inaugurated newly constructed Court Complex at Hiranagar in a solemn ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by Justice Sanjeev Kumar and Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Administrative Judge for District Kathua.
MK Sharma, Registrar General High Court; Rajeev Gupta Registrar Vigilance; Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kathua; Viijay Kumar Sharma, MLA Hiranagar; Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Kathua; Shiv Kumar Sharma DIG J-K-S Range; Mohita Sharma SSP Kathua and other officers were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Justice congratulated all stakeholders associated with the completion of the project and stated that creation of such infrastructure is part of sustained efforts to take justice closer to the people. He observed that while infrastructure facilitates access to justice, its effective delivery depends upon the commitment and cooperation of all stakeholders in the justice delivery system.
Justice Sanjeev Kumar expressed satisfaction at witnessing the steady progression of judicial infrastructure in the district, recalling the commencement of the Kathua Court Complex, the residential complex for judicial officers and now the dedication of the Hiranagar Court Complex.
Addressing the gathering Justice Rajnesh Oswal described the occasion as momentous and expressed hope that the newly created court infrastructure would adequately serve the needs of litigants and the judiciary for years to come. He emphasized collective responsibility in preserving and maintaining the facility.
Earlier, Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kathua, in his address, welcomed the Chief Justice and other dignitaries.
