CM Omar Abdullah greets people on Herath

: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah greeted people on Herath and pitched for strengthening communal harmony in the Union Territory.
Remarkably, Herath, the Kashmiri Pandit name for Maha Shivratri, is being celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety across the region.
Extending his wishes to the Kashmiri Pandit community in particular on the occasion of the festival, the Chief Minister as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) expressed hope that it would foster peace and brotherhood.
In a post on his official social media handle, the Chief Minister as per KNS said, “Herath Poshte! On this auspicious occasion, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all, especially our Kashmiri Pandit brothers and sisters. May this sacred festival bring peace, prosperity, and strengthen the bonds of harmony and brotherhood across Jammu and Kashmir.”
