CM Omar Abdullah lists Dr Manmohan Singh’s significant contribution to J&K

Srinagar, December 30 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has praised the former Prime Minister’s efforts in the context of his significant contributions to Jammu and Kashmir. “Dr. Manmohan Singh has done a lot for Jammu and Kashmir, and hardly any Prime Minister has done so much for the region,” he said.
While listing key achievements during Dr. Manmohan Singh’s tenure, the chief minister said that the development of the Jammu-Srinagar Highway, the four-laning project, and scholarship schemes to help students study abroad are some of his initiatives that would always be remembered.
The chief minister even mentioned Cross LOC Trade, the Round Table Conference for Jammu and Kashmir, the new tunnel project, as a result of his vision.(STC)
