CM Omar holds pre-budget consultations with stakeholders from Jammu division

: with an aim to present people-centric budget, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday held wide-ranging pre-budget consultations with stakeholders from Jammu division as the Union Territory government worked to finalise its financial blueprint for the coming fiscal, officials said.
The marathon meeting held at the Civil Secretariat here deliberated on measures to strengthen infrastructure, create livelihood opportunities and boost key sectors of the region’s economy, officials said. And added that the CM emphasised his administration’s commitment to a “balanced and inclusive” development model that addresses regional aspirations and ensures equitable growth across the state.
The consultations with representatives from trade, industry, agriculture, tourism and social sectors are part of the government’s outreach to incorporate grassroots feedback into the budget-making process, they added.
