Congress delegation meets J&K CM, discuss political situation

: A senior Congress delegation led by party national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Syed Naseer Hussain met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today to deliberate over the prevailing political scenario in the Union Territory.
The high-level meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s official residence in Srinagar and was attended by AICC general secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir and J&K Pradesh Congress Committee president Tariq Hameed Karra.
Reports reveal that the discussions revolved around the emerging political dynamics in J&K, with a key focus on the INDIA alliance’s strategy and the need for collective political engagement to address pressing public issues.
“The deliberations were productive and emphasised strengthening collaboration within the coalition government and addressing contemporary challenges facing the Union Territory,” a senior Congress leader told reporters. (STC)
