Deadly collision between tourist cab and passenger bus near Gund Kangan leaves four dead, 17 injured

SRINAGAR, MARCH 23(STC): A deadly collision between Toyota Etios and a bus near Gund Kangan, left four people including three tourists and a local driver dead and 17 others injured on Sunday.
The injured were evacuated to nearby hospital for treatment.
Those killed in the tragic accident have been identified as Leshia Ashish Pari, Nikki Ashish Pari, Hetal Ashish Pari all resident of Maharashtra and Faheem Ahmad Badyari son of Nazir Ahmad Badyari resident of Soitang Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in an official statement has extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.”Deeply saddened by the tragic road accident on highway near Gund, Kangan, which has claimed several lives and left many others injured. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the swift recovery of the injured. Authorities are providing all possible assistance,” the Chief Minister said. (STC)
