Delhi CM slapped many times while addressing public grievances

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 20 (STC): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was assa
ulted by a man while addressing public grievances at her residence today.
According to the reports, the attacker, identified as Rajesh Khimji Sakariya, approached the CM with a complaint letter. He waved the letter in the air before rushing toward her, shouting. Before anyone could intervene, he slapped the Chief Minister and attempted to grab her hand to further assault her.
Giving details of the incident, reports reveal that today morning, during a public hearing at CM Rekha Gupta’s house in Civil Lines, a man named Rajesh Khimji Sakariya attacked her. He first gave her some papers, and then quickly slapped her many times and pulled her hair. Security guards caught him immediately. The CM did not get any physical injuries, but she is in shock and doctors are treating her at her home.
Reportedly, the attacker is now at the Civil Lines police station, where he is being questioned.
