DGP along with IGP Kashmir reviews security scenario in downtown Srinagar

SRINAGAR, MARCH 06: (STC): The Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, along with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V.K Birdi and other senior police officials, today reviewed the overall security situation in downtown Srinagar.
Officials took stock of the ground situation and reviewed the deployment of police and security personnel in view of the prevailing circumstances and upcoming congregational gatherings. The visit was aimed at ensuring effective coordination and maintaining law and order in downtown areas.y
The senior officers also interacted with field officials and directed them to remain vigilant while ensuring smooth movement of the public and peaceful observance of religious activities.
