DGP Nalin Prabhat praises JK Police officers for swift evacuation of civilians from border villages

JAMMU, MAY 16 (STC): Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat (IPS), has acknowledged the role of J&K Police in the recent Indo-Pak conflict. He praised the officers for their swift action in evacuating civilians from border villages, which helped save lives.
He stated this during his visit to the border areas of Jammu district on Thursday.
The DGP began his tour from the R S Pura sector, where he met BSF and JKP personnel at several border outposts, including Octroi (Suchetgarh), Kharkola, and police posts at Baspur Bangla and Agra Chak.
He later visited Border Police Station Kanachak and Border Police Post Sandwan, interacting with officers and jawans stationed there.

The DGP also interacted with BSF officers on the international border and saluted their sacrifices, courage, and commitment in safeguarding the nation’s frontiers.
DIG JSK Range Shiv Kumar Sharma (IPS), SSP Jammu Joginder Singh (JKPS), and other senior officers accompanied the DGP.
