Director School Education Kashmir approves transition of 325 RRETs to next level

Teaching community praises for resolving this long-standing issue of teachers.

SRINAGAR, February 22 (STC):
In a significant development, today, Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo has approved the transition of 325 RRETs of the Valley to Grade Two and Grade Three categories, which were under process since 2022, seeking clarification on various issues.
As per the instructions of the Administrative Department, this also includes teachers who have obtained various degrees during their service.
In this regard, an official order was issued today by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, according to which the Approval Committee headed by the Director School Education Kashmir approved the transition of 325 RRETs of various schools in Kashmir Division to the next level.
The respective Chief Education Officers will soon issue orders in favor of these 325 RRETs belonging to various schools in the valley.
Earlier, in another important step, the Government promoted 80 Masters to the posts of Zonal Education Officers. This will help a lot in strengthening the monitoring system at the ground level.
The steps taken to promote 80 masters as Zonal Education Officers and resolve the long-standing issue of these teachers are being publicly praised. (STC)
