DSEK calls for mission-mode execution of “Grand Enrolment Campaign 2025-26”

: The Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Naseer Ahmed Wani, has called for mission-mode execution of the ‘Grand Enrolment Campaign 2025-26” with strict monitoring, and intensified community outreach to achieve 100% enrolment across all districts.
The director had convened a division-wide video conference today with all JDs, CEOs, and ZEOs of the Kashmir Division to review and accelerate the Campaign 2025–26.
He issued key directives including immediate cascading meetings, accelerated field mobilisation, special focus areas, monitoring & reporting and visibility & public engagement.
CEOs have been directed to meet Cluster Heads & ZEOs; Cluster Heads to meet HOIs; ZEOs to meet School Heads for strengthening field coordination.
The director asked to intensify door-to-door drives, especially in grey and hard-to-reach areas. Besides, the officers have been directed to strengthen participation of SMCs/VECs, PRIs, religious/community leaders, and teacher representatives.
“Boost enrolment in Pre-Primary, Balvatika and Foundational Grades. Identify and mainstream Out-of-School Children (OOSC) and ensure support for Children with Special Needs (CwSN),DSEK diected his officers.
Further, the officers have to ensure 100% daily online reporting by 4 PM. CEOs have to verify district-wise data daily and intensify field monitoring and surprise checks.
Conducting enrolment camps, community outreach programmes, and ensuring wide media coverage and no child in the Kashmir Divisiin should remain out of school under the mission “Har Ghar, Har Bachha” also constitute key directives of the director.
Notably, best-performing districts, zones, CEOs, ZEOs, Cluster Heads, HOIs, and schools will be formally felicitated, director Naseer Ahmad Wani said.
