New Delhi, January 1 (STC): The second full-fledged budget (Union Budget 2025) of Modi 3.0 government is likely to be unveiled by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1,2025 (Saturday) at 11 a.m, reveals an unofficial reports.
This will be finance minister’s eighth budget presentation, which includes six annual and two interim budgets.
Even as the Indian stock market ( BSE and NSE) remain closed for trade on all Saturdays & Sundays, the markets will remain open on February 1 despite being a Saturday. The exchanges have already intimated in a circular that “on account of the presentation of the Union Budget, Exchange shall be conducting a live trading session on February 1, 2025.”
Meanwhile, expectations among salaried individuals for potential income tax relief are increasing.(STC)
