Forest fire reported along LoC in Poonch, several mines explode

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 09 (STC): A forest fire erupted today around 1:00 PM in the Lanjote Balakote area of Poonch, along the Line of Control (LoC) ahead of the security fence in a region under the jurisdiction of the Indian Army, an official told media.
The fire detonated approximately three to four landmines, said officials. No injuries were reported in the incident so far.
It’s worth mentioning that last week similar kind of forest fire hit Behrooti forest of the Mendhar sector. Several mines exploded in the incident. (STC)
