Former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah hospitalised

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 04 (STC): Former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah (87) was admitted to a private hospital in Srinagar after developing an abdominal infection earlier this week, party leaders said.
They confirmed that Abdullah had been unwell for the past few days. However, his condition is now improving, and he is likely to be discharged either later today or tomorrow.
