SRINAGAR, APRIL 12 (STC): Another student girl succumbed to her injuries taking the death toll to two in a tragedic Handwara accident today.
According to the official reports, another girl who was referred to SMHS Srinagar succumbed to her injuries.
The two girls killed in the accident have been identified as Mymoona (21) and Tabasum Ahad resident of Kalaroos Lolab, both the students of Degree college Sogam.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed his grief and in his official statement he said, “The loss of two young promising students from GDC Sogam, in the tragic accident near Handwara is a tragedy that weighs heavily on all of us. My deepest condolences to their families in this hour of grief. Prayers for the swift recovery of the injured. We are closely monitoring the situation and ensuring all necessary assistance.”
