HM Amit Shah, CM Omar Abdullah hold cordial meeting in Srinagar, says report

SRINAGAR, APRIL 10 (STC): Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had a cordial and centered meeting on Wednesday around development and governance, says a report published in cross section of media.
According to the report, speaking at the Rising Bharat Summit 2025 hosted by CNN-News18, the Home Minister Amit Shah said, “My recent meeting with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was cordial and focused on development and governance.”
He reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to supporting all regional governments. “We have always supported regional governments equally, without any bias,” he stated.
The report says that the Home Minister issued a stern warning: “We will not let anyone conspire to spread terror in J&K. If anyone tries such things, they will be punished.” He added that national security remains a top priority for the government.(STC)
