HM Amit Shah visits flood-hit areas in Jammu

: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday visited the flood-affected areas of Jammu to take stock of the situation. He inspected the damage caused by heavy floods at Vikram Chowk and along the Tawi Bridge.
The Home Minister was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
He stopped on the Tawi Bridge near Vikram Chowk, where he reviewed the extent of destruction along the riverbanks caused by floods. During his visit, he interacted with officials on the ground and took details of the ongoing restoration and relief measures.
