STC NEWS DESK
Srinagar, January 30 (STC): National Conference (NC) has expressed optimism that Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood will be restored in the upcoming Budget session of Parliament, says NC Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, while talking to reporters. He emphasized that reinstating statehood is crucial for addressing public grievances and ensuring employment opportunities. “With the Prime Minister’s commitment to the people, there is no need for confrontations with the central government over this issue,” he said.
Tanvir Sadiq announced that the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) will be set at Rs 40 crore each, as promised by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. A proposal regarding this will be submitted soon, he said.
Remarkably, the restoration of full statehood is seen as essential for empowering the local administration and addressing public concerns.
Tanveer Sadiq while commenting on the Waqf Amendment Bill said that including non muslims in Waqf board is injustice with Muslims.
He termed the meeting of Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and MP Aga Ruhullah very important as according to him it will help to keep all muslims united.

Meanwhile, he said that the NC government is working to bring all lakes on tourism map so that it can help locals to earn their livelihood and empower them financially. (STC

  1. Tanvir sadiq is not in JKNc because he has political wisdom, he is their because he has been a blue eyed boy for JKNC. He may speak all good things but he lacks political understanding or I may say political grit to debate on issues which impacts life of common man.
