“Entire Kashmiri Pandit community, devotees of Mata Kheer Bhawani, and members of the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), extend heartfelt congratulations and profound gratitude to your esteemed self for your historic and much-needed decision to construct a Yatri Bhawan adjacent to the Mata Kheer Bhawani Shrine, Tulmulla. Your announcement on the last auspicious occasion of Zyestha Ashtami, at Tulmulla ,has brought immense relief, joy, and satisfaction to our entire community and all yatris who have long faced difficulties due to the lack of proper accommodation facilities at this sacred shrine,” reads the congratulatory statement of the KPC.
The KPC calls it an unwavering commitment to addressing the concerns of Kashmiri Pandits and ensuring their religious and pilgrimage needs are met. “By allocating funds for this significant project, you have reaffirmed the faith of our community in your administration’s dedication to preserving our religious heritage and facilitating our spiritual obligations. This much-needed step will ensure that pilgrims, particularly elderly and vulnerable devotees, are protected from extreme climatic conditions and can perform their religious duties in comfort and peace,” said President KPC, Kundan Kashmiri
The Conference also seeks attention of the LG Manoj Sinha toward other essential improvements at the shrine “that are crucial for maintaining its sanctity, religious traditions, and overall facilities.”
“To uphold the religious sanctity, authenticity, and rich heritage of our spiritual practices, it is imperative that a Kashmiri Pandit Guruji be reinstated at the temple without further delay, said the KPC President.
Notably, a representation containing extensive demands in this regard has been submitted by the Presidentt of the KPC to the LG. (STC)
