LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta appointed Governor of Himachal Pradesh

LADAKH, MARCH 05 (STC): Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory Ladakh Kavinder Gupta after resigning from his position today, has been appointed Governor of Himachal Pradesh. He had assumed office on July 18, 2025.
Vinai Kumar Saxena, Lt. Governor of Delhi has been appointed in his place as Lt. Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Gupta was the third LG of Ladakh after it was sliced out of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir on August 05, 2019.
