LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta resigns from his position

LADAKH, MARCH 05 (STC): Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory Ladakh Kavinder Gupta has today resigned from his position, reports a cross section of media. He had assumed office on July 18, 2025.
He was the third LG of the Union Territory after it was sliced out of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir on August 05, 2019.
Reports said that official sources confirmed that his resignation has been submitted and accepted, though no reason has been publicly disclosed so far. The Ministry of Home Affairs is expected to issue a formal notification regarding the appointment of his successor.
