LG Manoj Sinha chairing high-level security meeting in Srinagar today

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 12 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is chairing the unified command security meeting today in Srinagar.
The meeting is taking place just a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a security meeting on J&K.
The meeting, being attended by top Army, Police, and CRPF officers and various security agencies, will assess the security situation in the Kashmir Zone. A separate meeting will be held to assess the security situation in Jammu Zone tomorrow, said a report.
It’s worth mentioning that the unified command comprises top security apparatus including the Army, CAPFs, J&K Police, Central and state intelligence agencies and senior bureaucrats of the UT administration.
According to the reports quoting officials, the meeting is aimed to focus on key security concerns, including counter-terror operations, infiltration attempts and the increasing challenges of drug abuse in the union territory. (STC)
