LG Manoj Sinha to lead Republic Day 2026 celebrations at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu

JAMMU, JANUARY 08 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will preside over the main Republic Day function in 2026 at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu, where he will also take the salute.
All government officers, officials and Public Sector Undertaking employees posted in Jammu have been directed to attend the function as part of their official duty. Heads of Departments and Chief Executives of PSUs have been instructed to ensure their presence along with that of their staff to observe the national event with due dignity.
The Beating Retreat Ceremony will be held on January 29, 2026, at 4:30 pm at the same venue. Government officers and officials stationed in Jammu have been directed to attend, while departmental heads and PSU chiefs must ensure participation of their subordinate employees.
