LG Sinha appeals for upholding harmony, calm and goodwill in society

SRINAGAR, MARCH 03 (STC): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday emphasising the importance of collective responsibility has appealed to citizens and community leaders to uphold harmony and contribute to an atmosphere of calm and goodwill in society.
He was chairing a meeting of senior police and civil administration officials at the Police Control Room, Kashmir, to review the prevailing law and order situation in the Valley.
The Lt Governor directed officers to remain on heightened alert and take all necessary measures to ensure public peace and tranquility, reads his post on X.
He noted that preserving peace and sustaining progress requires the active participation of all sections of society.
