SRINAGAR, MARCH 19 (STC): The Director of Horticulture today unveiled a Management Guide for Apple Orchards in Kashmir at an event held at the Directorate of Horticulture Kashmir.
This comprehensive guide provides vital information for apple growers, including a spray schedule for pesticides used in orchards and fertilizer application schedules essential for improving fruit quality and yield.
By following the outlined recommendations, orchardists can adopt scientific and sustainable practices to enhance productivity and disease resistance.
Speaking at the event, the Director of Horticulture emphasized the significance of proper orchard management techniques and encouraged growers to utilize the guide effectively.
