Martyrs’ Day: CM Omar Abdullah pays rich tributes to martyrs

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 30 (STC) : A two-minute silence was observed on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day at the Civil Secretariat here today to honour the martyrs.
An officer in the CM office said that the solemn observance marks the enduring respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that their supreme sacrifice will always be a source of inspiration for future generations.
CM Omar paid rich tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation and the ideals of freedom, justice and democracy.
He said, “Their supreme sacrifices will always remain a source of inspiration for generations.”
