Navy, IB officers among those killed in Pahalgam terrorist attack

SRINAGAR, APRIL 22 (STC):
Indian Navy Officer and Intelligence Bureau official are among those killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack today.
The Navy officer has been identified as Lieutenant Vinay Narwal (26). He got married on April 16 and was on leave.
“One Indian Navy Officer, Lieutenant Vinay Narwal (aged 26 years), who was posted in Kochi, has been killed in the Pahalgam attack while he was on leave. He is a native of Haryana and got married on 16 April,” reported ANI quoting Defence Officials.
According to a news rpeort by The Print, apart from a Navy official, an Intelligence Bureau official was also killed by terrorists in the terror attack.
The report adds citing sources, Manish Ranjan, a section officer-rank official of India’s internal intelligence agency posted in Hyderabad, was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. Ranjan, who was on holiday in Pahalgam with his wife and two children, was reportedly shot in the head, while his family survived the assault. (Inputs puts agencies)
