No charges on private vehicles for pickup, drop at Srinagar Airport, say Srinagar airport authorities

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 18 (STC): No charges are levied on private vehicles for picking up or dropping passengers within the stipulated free time period at the Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport, authorities clarified today.
The authorities said that private vehicles bearing white number plates can continue to use the pickup and drop facility without any charge, provided they adhere to the designated time limits.
“The applicable pickup charges pertain only to commercial vehicles with yellow number plates, in accordance with the approved policy currently in force, authorities said.
The authorities urged passengers to follow the prescribed time restrictions to avoid inconvenience.
