Omar Abdullah calls for clarity on INDIA Alliance agenda

“If the alliance was solely for the Parliamentary elections, it should conclude after its purpose is served.”

Srinagar, January 09 (STC): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday has questioned whether the INDIA coalition was limited to the Lok Sabha elections.
According to the reports, Omar Abdullah said there is lack of clarity in INDIA alliance. “There is no clarity on the agenda and leadership of the INDIA bloc. No meeting has been convened to discuss these issues. It would be beneficial if a meeting is called to address this uncertainty,” Omar said.
He said that if the alliance was solely for the Parliamentary elections, it should conclude after its purpose is served. However, if the alliance extends to Assembly elections, the parties involved must work in unison. (STC)
