Over 450 promotion orders of teaching and non-teaching staff in Kashmir Division to be issued soon

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 30 (STC):
Aimed at streamlining the education sector, more than 450 teaching and non-teaching personnel from Kashmir Division have been elevated to the next higher level. Orders to this effect will be issued soon
The announcement was made by the Education Minister, Sakina Itoo, who said, “In line with our commitment to streamline the education sector, I am pleased to share the elevation of 458 teaching and non-teaching personnel from Kashmir Division to the next higher level. Orders will follow shortly. Best wishes to all of them.”
Officials said formal orders regarding the elevation will be issued soon, paving the way for the promoted staff to take up their new responsibilities.
The decision has been by many termed as a step that will not only boost staff morale but also improve the overall functioning of schools and colleges in Jammu and Kashmir.
