JAMMU, MAY 07(STC): Pakistan has resorted to heavy shelling in the Poonch Sector on Wednesday, killing at least three civilians.
According to the official reports, during overnight heavy shelling by Pakistan in the Poonch area, three people were killed and forest office Poonch also got destroyed.
Officials have identified the three deceased as Mohd Adil son of Shaheen Noor, Saleem Hussain son of Altaf Hussain and Ruby Kour wife of Shallu Singh.
An Indian Army statement said that during the night of 06-07 May 2025, Pakistan Army resorted to arbitrary firing including Artillery shelling from posts across the Line of Control and IB opposite J&K.
The Army is responding in proportionate manner, reads the statement. (STC)
