Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs arriving J&K on April 26

SRINAGAR, APRIL 19 (STC)
: A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs is scheduled to arrive in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for a six-day visit, beginning on April 26. The UT administration has appointed 25 Liaison Officers to assist the visiting committee.
The Parliamentary Standing Committee from the Ministry of Home Affairs will be in the region from April 26 to May 1, 2025, and during the course of their stay the panel will undertake a detailed review of various sectors and ongoing developmental initiatives in the region.
In an official order issued by the Jammu and Kashmir government, 15 officers have been appointed for the Jammu Division and 10 for the Kashmir Division to facilitate and coordinate the committee’s engagements during the tour. (STC)
