PDF Chairman Hakeem Yaseen, calls upon Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha

: President of the People’s Democratic Front (PDF) and former Minister, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, on Sunday called upon Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan. He raised several pressing developmental and public welfare issues concerning various parts of Jammu and Kashmir, with particular emphasis on Budgam district and other neglected rural areas.
During the meeting, Yaseen drew the Lieutenant Governor’s attention to the prolonged ban on tourist activities at key destinations including Doodpathri, Yousmarg and Tosamaidan.
He said the continued restrictions have severely impacted family’s dependent on tourism-related livelihoods and appealed for the immediate reopening of these areas, citing improved security conditions and prevailing normalcy.
“The Lieutenant Governor assured that the tourist destinations would be reopened soon,” Yaseen said.
The PDF president also apprised the Lieutenant Governor of the hardships faced by people due to inadequate infrastructure, rising electricity tariffs and lack of basic amenities.
