Range level training programme on “FieldIntelligence and Inter-Agency Coordination” concludes at DPL Baramulla.

: The two-day Range Level Training Programme on “Field Intelligence and Inter-Agency Coordination” concluded today at District Police Lines (DPL),
Baramulla. The programme, inaugurated on 16th February, 2026 by DIG North Kashmir Range Maqsood-ul-Zaman (IPS) was attended by SSP District Baramulla Gurinderpal Singh (IPS), SSP PD Sopore Iftikhar Talib (JKPS), Addl. SP District Baramulla Hariprasad K.K (IPS), Guest Speakers invited for the Programme and senior officers of Range Police Headquarters, Baramulla. Trainee officers from all districts and police districts of
North Kashmir Range participated, representing ranks from Dy.SPs, Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors.
The Programme was organized by Range Police Headquarters, Baramulla in pursuance of the directives of Police Headquarters J&K as a part of the ongoing Capacity Building Programme aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of field officers. The two-day schedule included interactive sessions, expert lectures and case-study based exercises focusing on techniques of field intelligence
generation, best practices in operational coordination and
strengthening inter-agency synergy for effective law enforcement.
In his inaugural address, DIG North Kashmir Range emphasized the critical importance of intelligence-led policing and seamless
coordination among agencies in safeguarding public order and countering emerging security challenges, lauding the initiative as a forward-looking step in professional development.
At the valediction today, the trainee officers and guest speakers were felicitated with participation certificates and mementos, acknowledging their commitment and contribution. The programme is expected to significantly contribute to the professional growth of participating officers, equipping them with sharper skills and broader perspectives to meet contemporary policing challenges, while underscoring the Jammu & Kashmir Police’s unwavering dedication to continuous learning, capacity building and fostering a culture of excellence across the Ranks.
