Shantmanu is interim chairman JKBOSE, SCERT

SRINAGAR, MARCH 01 (STC):
Shantmanu, currently Financial Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of the School Education Department, has been appointed interim Chairman of the J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) and Director of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).
The order to this effect was issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Government today. Shantmanu is 1991 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer and this is in additional charge given to him.
It’s pertinent to mention that one-month extension of incumbent Chairman Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas ended on February 25.
Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Education Department shortlisted 14 candidates for the posts of Chairman JKBOSE and Director SCERT, calling them for an interaction on March 5. (STC)
