SIA searches Kashmir Times newspaper office in Jammu

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 20 (STC): The State Investigation Agency (SIA) today carried out searches at the Kashmir Times (KT) newspaper office at Residency Road, Jammu. KT is one of the oldest English language newspapers in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the reports quoting sources state that a team of SIA personnel arrived at the office in the morning hours and conducted searches for several hours. The searches were conducted in connection with an ongoing investigation, reports said.
The SIA team examined documents and digital devices as part of the search. The officers were inside for a considerable time and checked multiple sections of the office, reports said.
Quoting a senior SIA official, the reports said details would be shared “after procedural formalities are completed. The searches were being carried out in connection with FIR No. 02 of 2025 registered under Section 13 of the unlawful Act.
