Strong Winds Cause Widespread Damage in Kashmir Valley, Power Outages Reported

Srinagar, March 28(STC): Severe gusty winds swept through parts of the Kashmir Valley today, resulting in significant damage to both property and infrastructure.

According to local sources, a Baleno car (registration JK01AW1099) was completely destroyed near the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar due to the intense winds. In addition, several electric cables were damaged, leading to power outages in various areas, raising concerns about potential disruptions.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported thus far. Authorities have arrived on-site to assess the damage and coordinate the restoration of power and services to affected areas. Efforts are underway to ensure public safety as the situation is monitored closely.(STC)
