Suspicious movement detected in Samba sector, BSF opens fire & launch search operation

JAMMU, MARCH 11 (STC): In a swift response, the Border Security Force (BSF) jawans opened fire after detecting suspicious movement along the International Border in Ghagwal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district late last night, says an official report.
According to reports, the sentry on duty spotted suspicious activity near the border around 1 AM. Reacting quickly, the BSF personnel fired multiple rounds in the direction of the movement to deter any potential threat.
Following the gunfire, a search operation was immediately launched to rule out any security breach. Senior BSF officials, including the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) arrived at the site to assess the situation during the morning hours, said an official. (STC)
