Tons of plastic waste removed from Peer Gali pastures in official drive

SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 26 (STC): The Jammu and Kashmir Wildlife, Forest, Revenue, Forest Protection Force (FPF) departments and Municipal Committee Shopian joined together to clear tons of plastic waste from the picturesque Peer Gali pastures.
A Current News Service (CNS) report says that the collective drive not only restored the natural charm of this scenic destination but also sent a strong message about community responsibility toward the environment.
Meanwhile, officials have urged the public to “respect this gift of nature” and keep the region’s meadows free from plastic and polythene litter.
