WEATHER UPDATE: Evening time thundershowers, hailstorm to hit parts of J&K

SRINAGAR, APRIL 11 (STC): Thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds and hailstorm towards late afternoon or today evening are hitting parts of Jammu abd Kashmir, predicts the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.

The weather department said brief spells of light rain or thundershowers may occur at isolated places, primarily during the late afternoon or evening hours.
It added that the weather is expected to remain largely dry on April 12, with only isolated light rain spells. Clear conditions are forecast for April 13 and 14, while scattered rain and thundershowers may return on April 16 and 17.

The MeT office has advised farmers to resume agricultural operations, noting that maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually over the next five days.
